Established in 2014, HCFVC is a public benefit non-profit corporation, dedicated to strengthening the capacity of Ventura County Health Care Agency (HCA) to provide quality health care for all, especially its’ hospitals, Ventura County Medical Center and Santa Paula Hospital, with cost-effective and compassionate care for our diverse community. HCFVC focuses on the needs of our county’s constituency and are called upon to generate revenue to create or enhance vital programs and purchase state of the art medical equipment that augment service lines for Ventura County Medical Center, Santa Paula Hospital and all Ambulatory Clinics.

Our History of Investment Philanthropy
HCFVC Major Accomplishments:
- HCFVC supports Ventura County Medical Center, an award-winning Level lll Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the first and only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Ventura County, creating a Women’s & Children’s hospital within a hospital.
- HCFVC supports Ventura County Medical Center’s Level II Trauma Department, the West County’s designated trauma department, known for its extraordinary team of skilled surgeons covering neurology, orthopedic and general surgery cases.
- HCFVC supports Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Ventura County Medical Center to provide comprehensive Pediatric Hematology/Oncology services to detect, diagnose and treat children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders. Along with full scope of care, the center includes psycho-social support for patients and their families to keep the spirit alive and happy.
- HCFVC collaborated to create the third Ronald McDonald Family Room in the State of California. Located at Ventura County Medical Center, where we can care for children’s illness and keep families close to home, while giving them hope during their time of need, regardless of ability to pay
