Sim Tang-Paradis

Sim Tang-Paradis is the vice president and branch manager of the Westlake Village office of City National Bank. Sim oversees the delivery of the bank’s full range of financial products and services, including commercial, consumer, and real estate loans, cash management services, deposits, international banking services, and foreign exchange. She also manages the office customer service and business development efforts.

Sim began her banking career more than 25 years ago at First Interstate Bank in Westlake Village as a Regional Occupational Program student and worked her way up from there. Prior to joining City National Bank, She served as Vice President and SBA business development officer with California Oaks State Bank in Thousand Oaks. Ms. Tang-Paradis has previously held a similar position with Business Partners, LLC, and served in a variety of branch management positions with Santa Barbara Bank & Trust, Washington Mutual, Home Savings of America, and First Interstate Bank.

Active in the community, Sim volunteers her time with several nonprofit and community organizations. She’s an executive board member of the Economic Development Collaborative of Ventura County, and she was the first and only Asian woman to chair this organization. Additionally, she serves on the board of the California State University, Northridge Construction Management Program’s Golf Committee as well as the Fernando Award Foundation. She also serves on the board of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency of Pasadena, which is operated by the SoCal Corporate Growth Partners, where she serves as board secretary.
