My name is Brett Schulze. My son and I were hit from behind by a person going roughly 50 miles an hour while we were stopped waiting to make a left turn. From that point in time, the pain in my back has consistently increased without actual relief from any type of therapy.
My primary care physician, Dr. David Araujo, recommended I see Dr. George Chang-Chien at the Neuro Science Center. We did a couple procedures with steroids and anesthetics being injected into the joints and nerves and not part of my back with little relief but enough to know we were headed in the right direction. Three years later they received the ablation machine, and 3 months after receiving it my surgery was scheduled. I woke up in recovery, and while getting dressed I noticed bending over to tie my shoe there was 95% relief, which I have never had in the last 5 years. You have no idea to have relief after all this time brings me to tears. I have been able to reduce my pain medication by over 50%, and no after the second procedure I might be able to be completely free for life of taking any more pain meds.
