Lori Swanson deeply values family, health and community. When both her children completed high school and entered college, Lori attained her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University. As a cancer survivor, Lori learned how fragile life can be, and was inspired to use this passion, empathy and recent educational accomplishment as vehicles to give back to her community professionally
As a resident of Ventura County, Lori is deeply honored to serve the Health Care Foundation for Ventura County as the Grants and Program Development Contractor, which gives her the opportunity to help all residents of Ventura County attain the best quality health care possible. As such, she is using her persuasive writing and research skills to acquire funding for much needed medical equipment that adds value to this highly regarded campus that furthers education, comprehensive healing and integration in our health care delivery system.
Lori also enjoys serving her community as a Past-President and Sustainer of National Charity League of Ventura County, Board Member of Las Patronas Auxiliary of Assistance League, past Board Member of Ventura County Ballet and past Fundraising Chair for the Ventura High School Cougar Baseball program.
